Phonics/Reading: We will continue with our reading groups this week. We will
work on our sight words, as well as sounding out. As the reading skills
become more difficult it is important to practice reading at home with your
child. Please make sure you are practicing the sight words at home with your
child.

Writing: We will be doing our writing journals this week. The children are
gaining confidence each day in writing. It is a very exciting time for our
young writers.

Math: We will continue our unit on money. We will learn about the dime and
