KINDERGARTEN NEWS
May 25, 2012
Dear Kindergarten Parents,
It is so hard to believe that the school year is just about over. This will be our last Weekly News.
On Monday, we met our new principal, Mrs. Rehfield. She is very nice. We look forward to the next school year.
Friday was a very busy day for us. We attended Mass. This was Father Dindo’s last all schoolMass. He will be leaving our parish and moving to a new assignment inBolingbrook. It was a beautiful way to say good bye and God bless to Fr. Dindo.
We also celebrated everyone tying their shoes. Father Mark bought Happy Meals for everyone. Father Mark also joined us for lunch. It was a wonderful celebration! Thank you, Father Mark!
On Friday afternoon, the DuPage Children’s Museum came for our in-house field trip on magnets. The children learned a lot about magnets. We had a great time.
All of this was a fantastic ending to a terrific school year!
Don’t forget about our Angel Ceremony on Tuesday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. in the church. There will be a reception following the ceremony in Room 162. After that, the children will go home with you and start their summer vacation!
This has been a wonderful year teaching your child. Each child has made remarkable progress this school year. They know how to read, print upper and lower case letters, write sentences, add, subtract, etc. The list could go on forever. We are so very proud of them as we are sure you are too. Thank you for sharing your child with us.
Thank you for all your help and support. May God bless each and every one of you. Have a relaxing, fun, safe summer!
