Should my child read every night?
Yes. Your child should be reading for at least 10 minutes every night. It is okay to read to your child as well. You can also take turns reading. In class we call it buddy reading. Your child will read a page and then you read the next.Back to Top

My child uses their finger to read. Is that okay?
Absolutely. The only time I discourage it is when they are reading fluently and their finger is slowing them down.Back to Top
