In Religion this month,our class will learn to discover ways to show our love
for someone else by helping them and being kind to them.The children will
learn to celebrate their love for family and friends.
This month we will be focusing on the number 7. We will continue to review
the numbers 1 -6. The children will learn about hearts.
In Phonics, we will be working on the letters O, P, and Q. We will work on
hearing rhyming words. The children will continue to practice their first
name.
This month we will be working on the following themes:Groundhog Day,
Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, and Dental Health Month
Please have your child bring in an empty cereal box by Tuesday, February 7,
2012. The children will decorate the boxes in class for their Valentine party.
The Valentine party is on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. The party will begin at
10:30a.m. and end at 11:15 a.m. Please do not put the student's name on the
outside of the Valentine cards.
