I have been working in the Chicago Public Schools for over twenty-five years.
Most of this time, I have been teaching science. I have taught Earth Science, Biology, Critical Reading in
Science and now Forensic Science in addition to Biology.
I am very happy to be back at Steinmetz for a SEVENTH year and the fifth year as one of the swim
coaches.
The mission for Biology is for the students to gain an understanding of
living or once living things and the environment in which they live.
Students are also expected to develop basic scientific and problem-solving
skills.
