Monday: Complete Vocabulary learning activities for Week 12 words: (a)
Knowledge Rating Scale; (b) list of words and definitions; and (c) Concept
of Definition map on your assigned word. Also, complete the ACT English
Test practice passage.
Tuesday: Complete the Keyword reading-strategy activity in response to the
assigned reading.
Wednesday: Read the article on service learning and complete the Active
Reading Guide questions.
IB SR. ENGLISH/WORLD LIT. (Period 5)
Monday: Vocabulary List #12 is due. Read Act 3 of "Hamlet."
Tuesday: Objective Test: Wk 12 Vocabulary & "Hamlet," Acts 1-2
Wednesday: Read Act 3 of "Hamlet." Submissions of Commentary #3 (on
extract from Sasaki's "The Loom") to the "turnitin" website are due by 11:59
p.m. on 12/1/09.
IB JR. English/BRITISH LIT. (Period 6)
Monday: Vocabulary List #12 is due. Grammar Exercises also due: Chapter
5, Exs. C & Post-Test (pp. 97-99).
Tuesday: Read the handouts on Freud's theory of psychology and the
structure of the psyche.
Wednesday: Read Part 3 of "The Metamorphosis" (pp. 40-58); the final exam
(objective) on the novella will be given on Tuesday, 12/1/09. Submissions
of essay on "The Stranger" to the "turnitin" website must be completed by
11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, 12/1/09.
