Ms. Eichstaedt teaches courses in the Technical Department at Steinmetz
Academic Centre. This year, Ms E's regular classes include Digital Media I and
Drafting Orientation.
In addition to a B.A. and graduate Secondary Education credentials from
University of Illinois at Chicago, she has a M.S. in Technical Communication
from Illinois Institute of Technology and the Institute of Design. Ms E was a
commercial real estate broker prior to becoming a teacher.
Office hours are Monday, at 7:30 a.m. in room 209, and Monday, Tuesday and
Thursdays after 8th period in 209. If you are planning to use the lab after
school hours, please make sure Ms E will be available that day. Or if you
prefer, schedule an appointment.
Our mission is to explore the personal, professional and social opportunities
of global digital communications while developing and practicing new skills.
The growing field of digital media is fast paced and exciting with
skills that transfer to every endeavor, whether academic, commercial, or
individual. Perhaps most importantly, engaging with communication
