What are the class rules?

1.  No Food or Drink in the class.
2.  Treat the teacher and your peers with respect.
3.  Check the web site for your daily assignment if it is not on the board.
4.  Be on time.
5.  Respect the property in the class (computers, the classroom, books)

What do I do if my computer is not working?

1.  Check if the power light is on for both the monitor and the CPU
2.  If not, make sure the monitor and CPU are both plugged in.
3.  If the components are all plugged in, make sure the internet cable is 
connected.  If not, connect it.
4.  If the computer is still not working hold the power button down for 30 
seconds and release.  This will turn the computer off.  Then turn the 
computer back on by pressing the button again.
5.  If the computer is still not working, work with a partner and let me 
know so I can fix it.  Do not wait for me to fix it, you might lose your 
points for the day.

What if I forget my password?

See me and I will reset it. However, continuous lack of personal 
responsibility will impact your class participation grade.

How do I turn in homework?

Homework and most classwork will be turned in electronically. Save your work 
in your H-drive in the appropriate folder.

Go to the O drive, open up _McSwine, copy the folder for the 
application that you need into your H drive.

Go to www.cpsbridges.com
Portoflio Name is cps and your student ID, no space between
Password is cps and your student ID with no spaces [until you change it]
