Cardio Club


Cardio Club Meets November through January.
 
Members meet in Room 322 by 2:45pm dressed to workout. 
Club meetings usually conclude by 4:00pm.

Most times workouts will include winter outdoor running.
 
You must have a current athletic physical to participate in this club as most of our workouts will involve intense athletic activity.

Club membership is limited.
 
Please contact Mr. Pereyra if you have any interest.

DIET, NUTRITION, AND HEALTH
Female athletes often must take in extra iron to avoid fatigue.
Drinking water throughout the day is far better than loading up just before exercise.
The healing process proceeds much more quickly when you sleep in long, continuous sessions.
Our bodies usually know something is wrong before we do--listen carefully. 

 
MEMBER HEALTH JOURNAL/KNOW YOURSELF
Date your entries
Record your resting heart rate
Record your weight
Describe your sleep pattern
Describe your meals and when you ate them
Discuss how you feel both physically and mentally
Note injuries, soreness, illness, or other circumstances
Describe any physical activity
