MAKEUP ASSIGNMENT
FOR THE WEEK:
(These are assignments that can be used to help augment a low quiz grade or make up for a missing bellringer grade.)

The school is having difficulty getting the seniors to achieve the require 90% attendance they need to be able to graduate on stage.  Answer the following:
1. Why do you think the attendance is poor?  Is it tardies?  Cutting?  Absences?  Be specific.
2. Discuss one major incentive or reward that you think would help encourage the students to improve their attendance.  What would the school need to offer to students that they would want?  Be reasonable.  Cash is not an option.
3. Though not as popular as a reward, what is a punishment that could be used in order to get the students to improve?  Again, be realistic.
4. Why do you think it is that the school is so heavily stressing good attendance in the seniors?  Clearly it is not to just be mean to you.  So, what is our motivation in wanting your attendance to increase?

Be sure to answer all of these questions FULLY in order to earn credit.  Bonus is due on FRIDAY, February 10th when you turn in your bell ringer form.
