New story read silently, questions on:
point of view: the perspective from which a story is told
1st person: The narrator is a character that tells the story. Uses “I.”
3rd person: The narrator knows about all the characters, refers to all the
characters by name or pronoun.
exposition: Beginning of the story. The setting and characters are exposed.
character: a person or animal in a story
setting: the time, place, and conditions in the story
conflict: a problem for one or more of the characters
climax: the point of highest dramatic interest or a major turning point in
the action
resolution: the point at which the main conflict is worked out. The problem
is resolved.
theme: a message in a story, often about human nature or life (not the plot
or a summary)
