I was born and raised in Colorado and came to Chicago via Arizona. I attended
Arizona State University where I received a Bachelors degree in Finance with a
minor in Spanish. While attending ASU, I had the opportunity to visit Chicago
and fell in love with the city and moved here in 1993. In my previous career
I worked in the financial industry and realized my true calling, teaching.
I enrolled at DePaul University receiving my Masters degree in Secondary
Education.
I began teaching at Steinmetz in 2001 and this will be my twelfth year
teaching at Steinmetz. I am also the Boys' Varsity Cross Country Coach.

My goal is establish a positive environment for my student so that they may
grow and learn in order to become active members in their communities as well
as the world community. I want my students to understand their past so that
they may make the future a better place.
