What time does school start/end?
Students must be in their Homeroom (division) at 8:02am, each day. I suggest
students arrive to school no later than 7:30am, so they have enough time to
enter the building, go to their locker, see friends, take care of any
necessary business. The school day ends at 2:31pm.
May I leave the building?
NO, NO, NO!!! Steinmetz is a closed campus! Students are to remain in the
building.
What is the school uniform?
The uniform for students consists of a forest green Steinmetz polo shirt,
dark pants or jeans that look neat, not baggy, all white or all black
shoes.
During the colder weather months, students may wear a long sleeved top UNDER
their Steinmetz uniform shirt. The long sleeved shirt MUST BE WHITE. NO
OTHER COLORS ARE ACCEPTABLE
When can I see my counselor?
Students may see their before or after school or during their lunch period.
Students are not to come to the counseling office during class time.
Where can I use a telephone?

counseling office, room 108.
How do I get an early dismissal?
All early dismissal are handled by the attendance office. All guardians
picking up students early must present a photo ID. If a student is sick,
the nurse or counselor will contact the guardian.
