Tutoring:

Upward Bound: Northeastern Tuesday and Thursday 2:35p.m.-4:30p.m. Room 127 
FAFSA applications, college questions and concerns, scholarships, Offered in 
the College & Career Center, room 127 - College tours- Saturday tutoring 
component (Held on the Northeastern Illinois campus)

component (Held on the St. Augustine campus)

Introspect: TRIO Program Mondays 12:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m..	Room 127
College tours financial aid, scholarships. Focus on parent meetings to 
provide support for college entrance and adjustment. Specific to Robert 
Morris College. Room 127, 

College & Career Center:

Social and Emotional Learning Support:
BUILD Intervention Outreach Mondays and Wednesdays 2:35p.m.–5:30p.m. Room 226
Specifically designed to work with the Discipline and Attendance Offices on 
Student Code of Conduct suspension able first offenses. On discretion of 
Dean assignment to a BUILD intervention session may substitute for 
suspension. Snack provided.

After School Matters: Offering Art Enrichment, Board Games, and Cultural 
Dance Tuesdays and Thursday 2:35 p.m. - 4:05 p.m. Rm 315, 132, and 225 
Offering of activities to promote positive socialization and interaction 
among students: to give students opportunity to build and improve decision 
making and teamwork in a venue other than an academic setting

Mentoring Moms: Tue. 2:30-4:00pm and One-on-One consultation on Thurs.10:30-
3pm in room 224 A (Th)
Provide intensive parenting and support services for pregnant and parenting 
teens and their families with heightened risk factors. Weekly parenting 
sessions will lead to Saturday support initiatives at Metropolitan Family 
Services and possible referral to other agency support. 

Youth Guidance:	Mondays specifically scheduled times during PE classes 
Identification and application of strength based techniques and strategies 
to build student resiliency to avoid temptations of drugs and alcohol. 
Offered through freshmen PE classes. Additional support and mentorship for 
those already identified as having substance abuse issues

Mental Health Intervention: Tuesdays 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Rm 224 A 
Small group training of students to modify their behavior by understanding 
their mental health (behavior management/mental health strategies). Student 
attend by referral of social worker, counselor, attendance coordinator or 
Dean

Art Therapy: Tuesday and Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Rm 224 A 
Small group art therapy sessions with art therapist. Student referred 
through social worker, counselor, dean, and class teacher. If you would like 
your child to participate in Art Therapy please talk to your child's 
counselor in order to get a referral.

Peer Jury:  Mondays 2:35- 4:30 p.m. in room 122
Opportunity for students to participate and support/mentor other students 
who have committed Student Code of Conduct Group 1 & 2 violations
