The Bronco
Binder is a folder that students take home with them nightly. It helps keep
everything organized. It teaches them responsibility and organization sills.
It is also used as communication between the teacher and parent. We use a 1"
binder with a clear pocket front.

Front Pocket of Binder
|
Special Event Papers:
In this pocket you will find special
event flyers from the P.T.O. or
other organizations.
|
|
Zipper Pocket
|
Lunch Money, Book
orders, etc.:
The zipper pocket is a
great place for lunch money, field
trip money, or book orders.
This way money will not get lost
in the bottom of backpacks!
It is the student's responsibility
to take the money from the
zipper pocket and turn it in to
me.

1st Clear Sleeve
|
Lunch Menu/Calendar of
Events:
Keep track of lunch
choices and upcoming school events
with out searching
your house for the papers! The
students will know right
where to look if they want to know
what's for lunch tomorrow.

2nd Clear Sleeve
|
Spelling
Words/Newsletter:
Each week we will have a list
of spelling words and sentences.
Since I don't give a lot of
spelling homework, it is important
for parents to study these
with their child the way they
choose. I suggest writing the
words 3x each and the sentences
1x. Rewrite sentences that
have mistakes. You can have them
spell the words verbally
if they seem to know them well.
Give a practice test then on
Thursday night before the test on
Friday. Also, in this sleeve
will be our monthly newsletter

Red
Folder
|
Returned Papers:
The red folder contains graded
homework pages, tests, and projects we have
completed.
These should be carefully reviewed to see how well
your
child is doing. Let them know what a great job
they have
done, or give encouragement and help where it is
needed.
Please clean out this folder each night!

Blue Folder
|
Homework
Papers/Behavior chart:
The blue folder
contains the daily homework sheet
and homework papers.
The homework sheet is always
signed and returned along
with any homework papers. The
weekly behavior chart will
be sent home in this folder on Fridays. It should
be signed
and returned on Monday.
