In our classroom students will participate in writer's workshop. The theme of
the workshop is "Cowpoke Publishing". The students will keep journals, write
poems, short stories, as well as "publish" writings from different genres.
Through this workshop, they will learn and practice all the stages of the
writing process. To help them stay organized, they will each have a 1" writing
workshop binder. The binder will help keep them focused through each stage of
writing.
