Homework will follow the same schedule throughout the year unless otherwise
noted.
Monday = 10 minutes of reading using the A-Z Reader and start working on the
spelling homework that is due Friday
Tuesday = 10 minutes of reading using the A-Z Reader
Wednesday = 10 minutes of reading using a phonics story
Thursday = 10 minutes of reading using a library book and complete the
comprehension skill page or math assignment. The spelling
assignment from Monday is due tomorrow.
Friday = 10 minutes of reading every day over the weekend
Although 10 minutes of reading are assigned each night, your child may and is
encouraged to read for more minutes. In addition to the assigned reading,
your child can read their library books on any given night.
