Parent Conferences
Attendance at parent conferences is extremely important. It gives you, as a parent, the chance to speak with your child's teacher to discuss their progress. If you have not done so, please e-mail or call your child's teacher to schedule a good time. Conferences are generally held the two days before the Thanksgiving holiday.
Report Cards
You should have received your child's report card last week. If your child did not bring one home, please contact his/her teacher. NOTE: Kindergarteners only receive report cards after Quarters 2 and 4. This is also true regarding music, art, and PE grades for all students. However, if you want to know how your kindergarten student is doing in school, please call or e-mail his/her teacher. That is also true for any parent with a student in K-5 regarding the special classes.
Spirit Wear Order Forms
It's time to order your Waterbury shirts! We are offering them in two colors...black and pink. Click

Lots of Cameras Clicking at Harvest Day Parties and Parade
As I walked around during our Harvest Day parties, I saw many of you taking a plethora of photos. We really need you to share all those memories with our yearbook crew. Just send them to Diane Sheeks by e-mailing them to her at
sheeksfamily88@sbcglobal.net
. (For those of you who may not know exactly how to download your pictures and attach them to an e-mail, please stop in and we'll either schedule a time for you to get some lessons from one of our staff members or, if Mrs. Kaminski is available in the library, I
know she would be glad to offer her assistance.)

I know that most of you are viewing the class newsletters on line. I just looked at them and was amazed at how different they all are; every teacher and/or grade level approaches this task in many different ways.

Library Books
Mrs. Kaminski and Mrs. Hausfeld, our library teacher and teacher assistant have told me that there are many books that are coming back with very wet pages. When that happens, the books cannot always be saved. Please be sure that you keep all your library books in a safe area at home and at school.
