I have been teaching for 30 years. I have taught kindergarten, first,
third,fourth, and fifth grades. I earned my bachelor's degree from Wheaton
College and my master's degree in curriculum and instruction from National
Louis University. I attained my original National Board Certification in
November of 2000 and recertified in 2009, thereby achieving the level of
Master Teacher in the state of Illinois.
I am married. I have a stepson who resides in Florida with his wife (also a
teacher), son (in sixth grade), and daughter (first grade.)
