My teaching career of 29 years has been a continuous learning journey. I have
taught kindergarten and first grade. I have a Bacheleor's Degree and a
Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am a very proud adoptive, single mother of two girls. My daughter Jeannie
is 14, and my daughter P.J. is 19. Between home and work, my life is
wonderful and full. Teaching first grade is a learning journey as the
wonderful world of pictures, print and writing become a part of each child's
world. Books are a favorite of mine and so teaching first grade is very
exciting.
My goal is for all my students to reach their potential physically, socially,
and emotionally. A continuous lifelong learning journey is my
mission for every child!
