What should I do if I need to get a message to my child?

Please contact the school office and leave a messge for me (630-894-4207).  
My voice mail number is 894-4227.  I will not answer the phone as I am most 
likely teaching, so you can leave a message.  If there is something you need 
to let me know before the lunch break or the end of the day, please call the 
office and leave me a message.  Be sure to let the office staff know that I 
will need to listen to my message before the end of the day.

What do I do if my child is sick and will not be in school?

Please call the school (630-894-4299) to report your child's absence.  Call 
before 8:25 so that we will know not to expect your child.

Does my child go our for recess every day?

Your child will go out for recess twice a day (except for Wednesday).  Please
be sure your child is dressed for the weather.  If it rains or the weather 
drastically changes your child will not go out.  Otherwise, the children do 
go out everyday.  Generally, the children do not go out when the air  
temperature is below 20 degrees.
