When your child brings home work to be completed, please take a moment or two
to help him/her. Often, he/she is unable to complete it alone and will need your
help. If you find you are unable to complete work the evening it is sent home,
please complete it as soon as possible and send it to school.
When you and your child have finished the work kindly return it to school.
I encourage you to read daily to and with your first grader. Please be sure
to read in front of your child as well--even if you read the newspaper, a
magazine or the TV Guide, your child will see that you value reading too!
