About The Teacher

I'm honored to work with great staff members who are dedicated to enhancing
the lives of the District 20 students.
In January of 1990, I was hired as a teacher assistant in a first grade
classroom. The room was located in the old Keeneyville School that stood on
the corner of Lake and Gary Avenue. Since then, I've also served as a
substitute and general education teacher. I also managed in the grocery
business.
I was hired to teach third grade at Waterbury School in the spring of 1998.
I received a Bachelors of Arts at Elmhurst College and a Master's in
Education at National Louis University.
Seeing and teaching the children in my own classroom is an honor and a dream
come true. I look forward to the opportunity to help each child strive to
his/her highest potential.

Mission For The Class

I believe that each student should continue to discover his/her potential,
demonstrate a willingness to learn, and respect his/her classmates.
