About The Teacher

This school year is my 14th year teaching in a public school setting. Before
that, I taught in a private preschool setting for 3 years. I earned my
bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Roosevelt University and
my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene
University. My teaching experience is in preschool, first grade, and
kindergarten. I am married and have two wonderful daughters (a third grader
and a kindergartener), and a beautiful baby boy who is two. In my spare
time, I love to cook, play games, and spend time outdoors with my children.

Mission For The Class

My mission for my class is for all of my students to have a love of school
and especially for reading because it enables greater success in all other
subject areas. I want all my students to be confident in themselves and
able to express their individuality as well as value the importance of
helping others and working as a team.
