In contact with the social worker, will it be in my child's file?

No, this will not be recorded or written in the student's regular education
record. If the student is receiving social work services as a related
service as part of an individual educational plan, those goals/objectives
will be part of their special education record.

Do I need to sign permission for social worker to see my child?

There is no "official" form to sign, but if you are requesting social work

telephone or in person.

How often or for how long will the social worker meet with my child?

It can range from 5 minutes to 30 minutes once or twice a week for several
weeks or longer in order to assist the student with their difficulty at
