What students do you teach?

I teach students who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Since I often
teach in my students' regular education classrooms, I am also able to help
other students, even if they do not have an IEP.

Where do you teach the students?

It depends on the student's need on any particular day and/or time. Sometimes
I see them in my resource classroom either one-on-one or with a few other
students. Often I work with them in their regular education classroom,
helping them with the material being presented by their classroom teacher.
Occasionally, I team-teach with the regular classroom teacher, helping create
the optimal learning situation for all the students.

How can you be in all these places at once?

I can't! I go where I am most needed depending on the day and time. Also, I
am very lucky to work with two very able teaching assistants, Mrs. Marilyn
Barnum in first grade, and Mrs. Darlene Garippo in kindergarten. The students
are very fortunate to have these caring, talented woman working with them!
