The students will study one Science and one Social Studies unit each
quarter. We will spend the first half of each quarter on Social Studies.
The students will study Science during the second half of each quarter.
SCIENCE:
Quarter 1: Sound
Quarter 2: Living Things (Plants)
Quarter 3: Lifting Heavy Things (Simple Machines)
Quarter 4: Earth Materials (Rocks and Minerals)
SOCIAL STUDIES:
The students will learn about the United States, Illinois, Chicago, and Roselle/Hanover Park.
The information in each unit is based on the following questions:

What do I know about the history?
What do I know about the geography?
What do I know about the culture?
