HOUGHTON MIFFLIN EDUCATION PLACE
The EduPlace website is designed for parents and students to support the 
Houghton Mifflin reading program.  Just click on "Kids' Place.";  In "Kids' 
Place" you will find fun and educational games, crossword puzzles, book 
lists, and much more.  You can play Social Studies, Math, and Spelling 
games.  You can also do word searches and crossword puzzles!

Click on the title of the tale you would like to create.  Then fill in words 
for the correct part of speech (noun, verb, adjective).  If you're not sure

Improve your decoding and comprehension skills with Cloze paragraphs.  Read 
the paragraph and type the missing words.  A word bank is given.  Remember, 
you may need to read ahead in order to fill in the missing words.  **  These 
are difficult, so start with the grade 2 passages (orange).  If you do well 
with those, move on to third grade (yellow).

POWER PROOFREADING!
