Hello! My name is Stephanie Padron and I'm happy to say that this is my
seventh year here at Waterbury School as a fourth grade teacher.
To prepare for my career as a teacher, I earned my Bachelor's Degree from
Illinois State University. I was lucky to complete my student teaching right
here at Waterbury in the fifth grade with Mrs. Lyn Ellis. In May of 2010,
I received my Master's Degree in Reading Education from Benedictine
University.
I am the oldest of six, with five younger brothers. I recently purchased a
home in Elgin. In my spare time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, going to
the movies, and spending time with my family.

their individual potential by focusing on their strengths and
learning from their mistakes. I hope to share my passion for books and the
study of the world around us, creating in my students a love for reading and
an awareness of our local and global communities.
