What do I need to do if I am going to pick my child up from school?

Please send a note to school in your child's home folder. Parent
pick up
time is 3:20 pm. You will need to check in at the office when
you arrive.

When is snack time?

Snack time is typically around 10:45 am. We have a late lunch
(12:45 pm),
so we have snack in the morning. Please keep in mind that
although it is
not required for you to send a snack to school with your child,
he or she
will likely become hungry before lunchtime if they do not have a
morning snack.

Do the students go outside for recess every day?

Students generally go outside for recess every day, unless it is
raining, or
the windchill temperature reaches 0 degrees or below. With this
in mind,
please remember to send weather-appropriate clothing to school
with your
child. Also, children will not be allowed to play in the snow
outside
during winter if they do not have on boots, snowpants, and
gloves/mittens.

What is the best way to send in lunch money?

You can add money electronically online to your child's lunch
account
through the Arbor website. Or, you can send money in an envelope
labeled (with your child's full name and my name on it) in
your child's home folder.

Can my child bring treats to school for his/her birthday?

Absolutely! You can drop them off in the front office anytime in
the
morning (or if the snacks are not heavy, you can send them to
school in your
child's backpack). We have 24 students total in our class, and
there are no
reported food allergies. There is no need to provide napkins,
plates, or
drinks.
