This is my ninth year teaching at Woodland. I was born and raised in
Perrysburg, Ohio and moved to Illinois after college. I have a B.S. in
Early Childhood Education from University of Dayton and a M.A. in Teaching
and Leadership from St. Xavier University.

·I live in Gurnee, IL.
·I grew up in Ohio. All of my family still lives there. I have 2 brothers
and 1 sister.
·My husband’s name is Mike. He is my best friend. He loves to play golf and
eat brownies.
.I have a daughter named Addison. Addy was born on July 13, 2007 (Friday
the
13th!) I love being a mommy!
·I have a dog named Maggie. She is a yellow lab.
·I love to read books, watch movies, and take long walks with Maggie and
Addy.
·I am a good friend because I always listen and I give good hugs!
·When I grow up I want to write children’s books and be a good mom!

That each child in my class will strive to do THEIR very best and be proud
of their accomplishments. My students will realize that success is not
always easy and hard work pays off. My students will treat others with
respect and kindness. It is my hope that my students will laugh and have
fun everyday, while remembering not to sweat the small stuff!
