Each first grader is required to read a minimum of 20 minutes per night.  Please keep track of this time on their monthly Reading Records.  The Reading records should be sent to school every day.  The expectation is that your child should be reading for 20 minutes per night for at least 80% of each month.  Students are graded on this on their report cards each quarter.  Books that are sent home from our Guided Reading groups may be used towards their required minutes.

  Our Math Calendar and Notebook is due no later than March 2.  The children should be doing an activity from the calendar each night along with reviewing their math fact flashcards.

   Reading comprehension homework pages are due every Monday.
