Our Language Arts program is called Treasures. Here is a website from the publisher. When you get to this page, click on the second grade book with a seahorse on it. Ask your child what story he/she is currently reading. Go to that story. There will be many activities on oral language, vocabulary, and comprehension for each story. Enjoy! Our Treasures website!
Many families want a list of books that are appropriate for their children's reading level. I am providing links for different sites that show book titles at different levels. The first site is an on-line store. I do NOT want you to buy books here. In fact, it is for teachers with on-line accounts with Scholastic. However, it shows some NEWER books at your child's level. When you click on this site, there is a table. Click on the letter of your child's guided reading level, and it will show you many pages of books at that level. http://teacher.scholastic.com/products/classroombooks/browse_level.asp
