*Make sure your child is well rested the night before.
*Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of the test. Try peanut buttered toast.
I have heard that peanut butter rouses the brain and improves a persons
thinking and focus.
*Encourage your child to try their best!
*Remind your child that there is NOT a time limit. Additional time will be
provided to finish if needed.
*Remind your child how important is it to read all the test directions carefully.
If your child is unsure of a word, use an appropriate strategy to decode the
word.
*If your child is unsure of what a question is asking, go back and reread.
*If your child is unsure of an answer, make a guess. Your child will NOT be
expected to know all the answers.
*Remind your child that some questions are easier and some will be harder.
