Who can join band?

Any fifth grade student can join band.  It does not matter whether you have
had any musical experience in the past.  Interested students and parents must
attend one meeting, either during 4th grade or at the beginning of 5th grade.

How do I get an instrument?

All questions regarding instruments will be answered at the parent meetings.

What should I do if my instrument breaks?

Do not attempt to fix it on your own.  Please bring the instrument to your
band director, so they can evaluate what needs to be done.

What should I do if I forget my instrument on a band day?

Call home and see if someone can bring it to the school.  Tell your band
director immediately so they can reschedule your lesson.  You must attend
recess band, even if you do not have an instrument.
