I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. My husband's name is Jason
and I have been married for 8 years. I have a three year old son
named Henry, a daughter Macy born June 9, 2010, and a Beagle named Lucy.
I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in
Elementary Education and minors in Math, Science, and Spanish. I graduated
from St. Xavier University in 2005 with a Master's degree in Teaching and
Leadership. I am entering my eleventh year of teaching.
I like to exercise and read in my spare time. I have completed 4 sprint
triathlons, the Soldier Field 10-miler, and many 5K and 10K races.
