PTA News & Upcoming Events:
Your Woodland PTA has several events planned for the month of February.
Caribou Coffee Monday is on February 6, and Red Robin Wednesday is on February
1. We no longer need coupons to receive credit. Just mention that you want
to support the Woodland PTA.
Our monthly PTA meeting is on Thursday, February 9, at 9:30a.m. at the ESC, or
7p.m. at the Intermediate school. Childcare is available by emailing us at
woodlandpta50@gmail.com, or calling Nancy at 599-0657.
On Friday, 2/17 we have a fundraiser to get the kids moving. It's at
Brunswick Zone in Fountain Square Waukegan. From 12:30-2:30 p.m. you can
enjoy two full hours of cosmic bowling for $8.00 a person including shoe rental.
We have a fundraiser at Chuck E Cheese on 2/22, and 2/23. Stop on by between
3-9 p.m. either day. We will receive 15% of the proceeds. This fundraiser
is for the younger grades K-5. Coupons for this event are in the February
newsletter.
Mark your calendar, the Fun Fair is coming! Saturday, 2/25, from 10a.m.to
2p.m. at the Elementary East School. We will need help with set up on Friday
2/24, and working the event on 2/25. We have 2 shifts to choose from
9:45-12:00, and 11:45-2:00. We also need bakers for the event. We need cakes
for the cake walk, and other yummy treats to be donated for the bake sale.

fair, or Nancy at woodlandpta50@gmail.com if you want to donate something for
the bake sale.
We need your help! We need two people to chair the Intermediate Book Fair for
the 2012-2013 school year. We have a book fair this spring, so anyone
interested could get training for the position. If we don't get these
positions filled we won't be able to have a book fair at Intermediate next
year. Those interested in volunteering please contact Amy Martin at
