I am definitely a child who has followed in the footsteps...
What does that mean you wonder? Well, I come from a family choke full of
substitute teachers, certified teachers, gifted teacher coordinators, &
principals. Despite wanting a career in business, my passion has become
teaching. I guess it is in the blood. :>) I am happily married and a
mother of one. My husband and I make our home in Lake County.
In the past I have taught third and sixth grade in the state of Illinois. I
attended Hampton University in Virginia where I received a B.A. in English
Literature. I graduated from Bradley University with a M.A. in Curriculum
and Instruction and teaching certification K-9.
I hope that this year will be rewarding as well as fun. The learning
opportunities promise great and exciting experiences for all of us!
There will be so many different things that we will be learning this year!
I hope that all the students will strive to be life long learners! This
website will provide information to parents and students at home about
weekly activities that we have done. Throughout the year, I will have
different pages to add and/or remove. If you need to contact me via email,
click on the rotating @ symbol at the top right hand corner of the page.
The school house pic next to it will link directly to the district website.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the site. Students and
parents may also make their own websites through teacher web. Be sure to
click on the teacherweb.com icon to find out how. It seems to be a great
tool for everyone, either tech shy or tech savvy! ENJOY!
