This is my 8th year teaching at Woodland. I also have 13 years
experience teaching figure skating classes and private lessons.
My Bachelors Degree (Family & Consumer Sciences) was earned at Illinois State
University and my Masters Degree (Reading Specialist) had been earned via
Southern Illinois University at UCLC.
My sons' names are Blake and Conner. In addition skateboarding, Blake enjoys
jumping on our trampoline and Conner made a Minecraft server. Our pets names
are Chazz, Frankie and
Fluffy.
My interests include: reading, traveling and spending time with my boys and
our pets.
I focus on trying to make every one of my students feel special and
valued for who they are. It is important to me that my students learn to
take advantage of resources made available to them, to become self-sufficient
and to believe in and rely upon themselves.
