Grading

Mr. O'Brien's PE Class Syllabus

Physical education gives each student the opportunity to learn the value of
healthy activities and habits. In addition, it gives each student an
opportunity to learn about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle
through the teaching of various life skills within the curriculum.

In addition to the multiple team and individual sports my class will be
expected to complete this year, students will be required to complete 4
Physical Education Projects. Some of the projects will be completed in
groups, and others individually. My goal for the P.E. Projects is to
hopefully show how important it is for everyone to see P.E. class as an
important part of their education.

Assessments may be graded or non-graded. Assessments in Physical Education
occur each time you have class. Assessments utilize our fitness technology
and computers. Assessments that are graded may be categorized and weighed.
