Mr. Osharow is my name, math is my game. Welcome to my 7th grade math class.
This is my 13th year of teaching and my first year teaching 7th grade math ( I taught 6th grade math
the last 5 years). I received my Bachelor Degree from Western Illinois University and received my
Master's Degree in Administration way back in 2003. I have three wonderful children, Brianna (8),
Grant (5.5) and Chase (2). I also have a wonderful wife, Mrs. Osharow, who teaches at this school as
well! (We cut gas prices in half this way!)
My hobbies include golfing, exercising at the gym, triathlons, playing with
my kids, Soduko, and eating Subway sandwiches. This summer, I completed three triathlons. I swam
1500 meters, biked 25 miles, and ran 6.2 miles (called an International or Olympic Triathlon). My
goal in the next couple of years is to complete a half iron man triathlon!
I try my best to make math class fun and meaningful. I love to use humor
in my class as much as possible, but I also am very strict about
certain things. You will learn more about me as a person and teacher as the
year goes on. Mathematics is an invaluable tool that all people need in
order to be successful in whatever they do. I strive to make EVERY student
stronger in their mathematics skills!
Peace, love and mathematics,
Mr. Osharow
