This is my 11th year at Woodland Middle School. I love teaching science and
working with middle school students. I am very active in the Gurnee
community and enjoy the crossover between work, neighborhood, church,
committees, and other activities.
I have two children of my own who graduated from Woodland. One is now a
junior at University of Alabama and the other graduated spring of 2010
from the University of Notre Dame and moved to New Orleans.
I love to walk my dog and cross country ski. My favorite season is spring
because the weather is getting warmer and the green comes back. My favorite
indoor activity has to be going to the movies where I can eat Sour Patch
Kids :-).
To create a safe,respectful, and fun atmosphere where students can learn
about and maintain an interest in Science and to teach students the value of
science in the real world.
