This will be my 10th year teaching at Woodland Middle School. I have taught 9
years of 8th grade science. This is my first year teaching 7th grade math.
I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in
Elementary Education with Middle School endorsements in math and science. I
also have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (science
concentration) from National Louis University.
Coaching volleyball is a love of mine. I have been a coach for 10 years.
I've coached girls and boys for two different club teams while I was in
college. The rest of my experience is for Woodland.
I spend my free time with my four year old daughter and my husband. I enjoy
reading mystery books, watching movies, country line dancing and anything that
is outside during the summer months. I am an absolute Bears (Bear Down
Chicago Bears), Cubs (Go Cubs Go!) and Blackhawks (Here come the HAWKS, the
mighty Blackhawks!!) fan!! One goal that I have for myself for when I grow up
(:P ) is to travel.
