FIELD DAY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
A message from the PTA:
Next Wednesday, May 23rd is
the Middle School 6th Grade Field Day! Volunteers are needed to help
with the running of some of the events. This is a great opportunity to
get involved and help out the staff. Volunteers would need to arrive at
the Middle School by 7:30 and stay until 11:30a.m. The kids really
enjoy this day. Please contact Nancy at woodlandpta50@gmail.com or call
847-599-0657 to volunteer or for additional information.

- Friday, May 18 - School spirit Day- Wear your Woodland Wear
- Monday, May 21- Up and At'em- Pajama Day! (Slippers are fine if you bring shoes for lunch/PE)
- Tuesday, May 22- Mix not Match Day- Wear your crazy or mis-matched clothes
- Wednesday, May 23- Move your Body- It's Field Day! Be ready to move and play outside.
- Thursday, May 24- Entertainment Day- Music, Movies, and More at school today!
- Friday, May 25- Random Happenings Day- Strange things may happen today... !!!
- This is also school spirit day- Jaguars wear RED
- Tuesday, May 29- Twin Day- Dress alike with a friend
- Wednesday, May 30- Illinois Day- Wear your favorite Illinois Team Clothing (No Hats)
- Thursday, May 31- Memory Making Day- Bring a Camera (NO cell phones!)
- Friday, June 1- Exit the building and Enjoy your summer!
- Compass Learning Odyssey is an online skills practice site that your child can be using at home. The students have all used this site once or twice at school now, and they have the directions in their assignment notebooks. Utilize this to work on skills that are "just right" for your child!
SOCIAL STUDIES ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Extra Credit is offered once weekly in Social Studies. It is available on Monday mornings and due by Friday when the students go home.
