Hello to all,
Just a bit about me:
I have been married to Nicholas Heckel my high school sweetheart for 8 years.
Nick is also an educator. I am a mom to a very sweet and busy 2 year old,
Charlie.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Early Childhood at Southern Illinois
University. I completed my graduate studies in Educational Leadership and
Administration at National Louis University. I grew-up in the Gurnee area and
attended Woodland school as a student (the classroom I am in was my second
grade classroom) . This is my 8th year as a teacher here at Woodland
Primary.
I find my job very rewarding. I enjoy seeing the children change and grow. I
live for the magical light bulb moments. You can see the wheels in the child's
mind turning and...they've got it. I look forward to working with your child
everyday! School is definitely a place of fun and learning for all.
