difference at anytime, from anywhere. A variety of choices including: animal
welfare, children's issues, community development, environmental protection,
healthcare, and overcoming poverty.
The volunteer opportunities featured at VolunteerGuide.org can be

Women, and the young girls who will grow up to become women, are
the secret weapon in fighting hunger. Empowerment can be as
simple as providing a nutritious meal to a girl at school.
Research shows educated mothers have healthier families – their
children are better nourished and more likely to attend school
themselves.

Are you a Chicago area teen in need of service learning hours?
Though we do not currently offer any direct volunteer
opportunities for individuals under the age of eighteen, we do
have a wide range of projects that teens can complete for service
learning hours. These include plans for no-sew dog beds, homemade
dog treats, t-shirt rope toys, and a “how to” guide of holding a
donationdrive.
Email AnnaOTAT@gmail.com for questions concerning service
learning hours.
