Hours: Open at 7:30 a.m. Closed at 3:00 P.M.
Except on Thursdays~library closes at 1:45 p.m.
THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAYS.
How do I get to use the library?
1. Before or after school, with no permit
needed.
2. From studies with a pass from a teacher or the librarian.
3. With an entire class when reserved by its teacher.
How do I obtain a library pass?
When a teacher assigns work that requires use of library
resources ask the
teacher for a library pass. (Be sure to ask at the beginning or
end of class
not while the teacher is teaching.) You might try to talk to the
teacher
before or after school. You may ask the librarian for a pass as
well.
Take your individual library pass to study hall with you and get
listed on
the study hall's Library Permit.
What are the loan periods and fines?
Fiction & Nonfiction may be checked out for 3 weeks, and have a
25 cent per
day fine when late.
Magazines go out for 1 week, and have a 25 cent per day fine if
late.
Reference loan is overnight only, with a 25 cent per period fine
if returned
later than the start of the school day. Please don't bring these
materials
back late. They are used by students regularly.
What are the library rules?
Patrons are asked to keep reasonably quiet, use materials
properly, and keep
all school rules. Use materials properly by charging items out
at the desk,
taking good care of them, and returning them on time. You need
your school
ID to borrow pencils, pens, scissors, tape and other items from
the charging
desk.
