Third Grade

Third grade students are learning some basic formatting tools using MS word. They are completing simple MS Word documents. Students reinforce their math skills using a variety of programs and use KidPix to create topic specific artwork.

Fourth Grade

Fourth grade students are continuing to gain proficiency using MS Word tools to create a variety of documents. They will also be creating a Powerpoint presentation that they will share with their classmates. Students will also be introduced to the process of creating graphs and charts using the MS Excel program.

Fifth Grade

Fifth grade will begin the year by learning about hurricanes; what foces and conditions must be present to create a hurricane, as well as what are the most dangerous effects of a hurricane. They will then work in groups online learning about the conditions surrounding a specific hurricane and make decisions as to what the citizens of particular city should do as the hurricane reaches landfall.
