Fabulous, Responsible, Organized, Growing |
|
Front Pocket of Binder:
School/PTO Papers |
In the front pocket of the binder you will find important papers from the school and/or PTO. Papers. Please remove and read all of these papers promptly; they will keep you in touch with important news and events that are happening at Ossian Elementary.
|
|
Zipper Pouch:
Money and Notes |
This is where you should put all money to be brought to school (field trips, lunch, book orders) so it doesn't get "lost" in the bottom of the bookbag. This is also a good place to put notes for Mrs. Schwartz. Once at school, there will be a special basket for students to put notes and money. |
|
First Clear Sleeve:
Newsletter/Lunch Menu |
In the first clear sleeve, you will find a copy of our weekly newsletter. This newsletter will include important classroom information. On the backside of this sleeve, you will find the monthly lunch menu.
|
|
Pocket Folder:
Daily Work Folder |
In the left hand pocket you will find class work that your child has completed. This pocket should be cleaned out each evening. Remember-the LEFT side is work to be LEFT at home!
In the right hand pocket you will find homework papers. These papers need to be completed each night and returned to school in the same pocket the following day. Remember-the RIGHT side is for homework to be sent RIGHT back to school! |
|
Back Pocket:
Weekly Spelling List |
The back pocket is where your child will bring home his/her spelling list each Monday. You may choose to leave it inside to folder, or take it out and put it in a safe place at home! |
