I began teaching the 2nd grade at Christ the King in the 2007. Prior to
this position, I taught 4th grade at St. John School under a temporary
contract for the 2nd semester of the 2006-2007 school year.
This year I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade.
Education:
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and an Associate Degree in
Computer Information Systems from USI. In 2004, I received my Master in the
Art of Teaching from OCU.
Supplemental Education:
My search for self-improvement has resulted in attendance at several
seminars sponsored by S.I.N.E. I was also fortunate to attend the annual
Second Grade Conference held in Indianapolis, Indiana, in November 2007.
Why I teach in a Catholic school:
I am impressed with the school's academic excellence, commitment to both
staff and students, and promotion of Catholic values. My goal as a Catholic
teacher will be to help students know God, love God and serve God.
Special Interests and Hobbies:
Teaching dance, working Sudoku puzzles, fishing, and spending time with my
family
